My name is Kismet. I am a Miniature Dachshund who has been proclaimed (by my mom) as the smartest and most wonderful Dachshund in the world. Sometimes she even says that not only am I the smartest and most wonderful Doxie in the world, but the smartest and most wonderful dog in the world which I guess pretty much means all you other dogs aren’t nearly as smart and wonderful as I am. I try to stay humble, even with all this praise, which is very difficult for me since I am Doxie after all and we’re not known for being very modest.

I’m letting my mom help me with this blog since, no matter how smart I am, I can’t quite get my paws on the keyboard of the computer. Also, everything on my mom’s computer is in English. If it were in German (since I’m a German dog) I would have been able to do this entirely on my own. Plus it makes my mom feel good to help me. Since I’ve come to live with her, I’ve been pretty much in charge of the household so I do like to let her do something now and then … with my approval of course.

Hope you enjoy my blog. Remember, even though it may be typed by my mom, everything on these pages is directly from my lips. (Yes, Doxies have lips.) Ok, I need a chicken stick.
